DEPARTMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND TRAINING (DHET) FET COLLEGES BURSARY SCHEME

Coastal KZN FET College is the Public FET College under the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) led by Minister, Dr Blade Nzimande.

DHET is providing bursaries to student enrolling with Coastal KZN FET College to ensure that academically and deserving and yet financially needy students gain access to education and training opportunities. This FET College Bursary Scheme is administered by NSFAS.

CRITERIA FOR AWARDING BURSARIES TO STUDENTS

• Students must be enrolled or enrolling for National Vocational Certificate (NCV) or NATED  Programmes.
• The College must be satisfied that the student is performing well academically based on evidence of good academic performance.
• The student must be financially needy based on the administration of the Means Test by the College.
• The student must complete an application form and submit ALL the necessary supporting documents (Refer checklist)
