TRAINING ACADEMY

The Training Academy is located at the Central Administration Building at KwaMakhutha. It offers hospitality services like conference facilities, catering and accommodation.

It also conducts short courses for Departmental officials that run for two to five days. These courses aim to fill the skills gaps so as to maximize job performance. Currently the College is offering these courses to the Department of Education: Human Resource Development. They include Project Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Financial Management, IsiZulu Literacy,Writing Skills and Computers.

The Academy has provided hospitality services to State Departments like Education, Finance and Economic Development, Office of the Premier, Welfare, Agriculture, Umsobomvu Youth Fund and Non Governmental Organisations like English Language Educational Trust and Valley Trust.
