The KwaMashu Samsung Engineering Academy, which was established in KwaMashu as part of Coastal KZNTVET College, is dedicated to providing vital support to students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds through offering technology-focused programs. In collaboration with the eThekwini Municipality, the Academy has taken steps to ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place to create an optimal learning environment for its students.

Specializing in delivering comprehensive training tailored to the specific needs of previously disadvantaged students, the Academy places a strong emphasis on fostering an entrepreneurial mindset to address the prevalent high levels of unemployment, particularly among the youth.

Furthermore, the Academy is committed to providing leadership programs in various disciplines such as technology, engineering, and related fields, thereby equipping students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to thrive in today's competitive job market.
